Montreal, Canada 10th April 2008 - Pixellexis Systems & Technologies has confirmed that the production version of its REDBOX parallel processor is ready and it will be shown for the first time at the NAB Convention, Las Vegas, (April 14th - 17th 2008) on booth SL 10530.

The REDBOX Personal Parallel Processing Unit is powered by 32 high performance floating-point processors in a water-cooled state-of-the-art single 2RU enclosure. REDBOX is expandable from 32 to 128 (high performance floating processors) per host.

Company President Stefany Allaire comments, “We are very pleased with the response to our pre NAB advertising campaign. We were sure that an expandable, versatile product of this type, that was kind to the environment, would be successful and from the responses we’ve had it looks like we were right—we’re really looking forward to NAB.”
